What's the Big Attraction to Network Marketing?

Being a part of a work from home business in the Network Marketing, multilevel or referral marketing industry has become an excellent alternative to traditional careers.

This industry has seen a growth of more than 91 percent in the last 10 years. An increasing number of people are recognizing that to control their financial futures, they can't accomplish that by working for someone else. The most effective way to do that is to have your own business.

For many, the perfect avenue to do that is to become a part of a Network Marketing company; also known as Multilevel, referral marketing or direct sales.? This business model has been thoroughly examined and found extremely credible. I was very impressed by the work done by Dr. Charles King. Like many people, Dr. King originally had a negative opinion regarding network marketing. A student challenged his presumptions which lead them to perform an extensive examination of the entire industry. The important thing for you to know is how to distinguish the difference between a legitimate business opportunity and a scheme.?I'd like to comment on the critical differences between a legitimate Network Marketing/Multilevel business and a pyramid scheme.

First of all, few pyramid schemes or ponzi schemes actually provide a product or a service at all. If they do have a product or service it is likely superficial in nature and would be of little interest to a retail customer. Legitimate companies have a viable product or service which can be purchased by the general public.? Next, a pyramid scheme makes their money exclusively by convincing other people to join up with the promise of making a killing without moving product or doing any work. Network Marketers can, and do make extremely good money but there is certainly real work involved. The trick is, these marketers earn repeat (residual) income from the teams they help build  teams that continue to purchase the product because it delivers genuine benefits.

The federal and state governments don't 'certify' network marketing companies any more than they would a corner store.?Legitimate companies meet all the legal requirements in all 50 states and often in other countries as well.? Joining a Network Marketing work from home business offers a number of key benefits. The financial risk is extremely small due to low cost to get started and no need for a storefront or employees. These companies typically offer some of the best training around so there is no need for a college degree or expensive training either.

Another large benefit is not having to start an entire business from scratch. These companies already have a viable product or service, and the tools and systems in place to market them. This is a huge advantage.?? Success in this business model does not require you to have a background in sales, or even a sales personality. When you have true passion for a product/service your enthusiasm naturally shines thru and is contagious.

This also makes communicating that information to others a whole lot more fun. How many times have you recommended a great restaurant or even a product you like to someone else? Most people are already doing this all the time; they just are not getting compensated for it. People like and trust word-of-mouth recommendations, so why not be compensated for sharing a great product or service with someone that would benefit from it??? Your job is not to convince people they need your product or opportunity. Your job is instead to find the people who are already interested in what that product does and provide the information they need to make a decision. It's really that simple.

Another benefit found in this business model is that you are in a work from home business for yourself but not by yourself. You become a part of a team of people who have a financial interest in your success. The more success you have, the more the team that supports you has success. It's a win-win situation.? Your income in earned both from your own efforts and from the efforts of others that you have introduced to the business. This is utilizing leverage which means you are working smarter rather than harder. With leverage you dramatically increase your earning potential.

For example: If you have 10?people on your personal team each is working 5 hours per week - their efforts would add up to 50 hours. This leverage is like having a sales force working for you!?? When you work for someone else you trade time for dollars. When you stop working your income stops too. With Network Marketing today's efforts pay you every month thereafter. This is called residual income which continues to roll in long after weve built up your business.

This is a home based business which allows you to receive many tax write offs that you can not receive working for someone else.?This one benefit alone can add many thousands of dollars to your bottom line every single year!?
